Charging in shared parking spaces
Landlords and block managers face a real challenge: tenants want EV charging, but the wiring, billing and metering has to be right. We design communal EV charging schemes so that every resident pays for the electricity they use, without cross-subsidy from other leaseholders.
Chargers can be issued per bay, per tenant, or as a shared pool controlled by an app.
OZEV EV Infrastructure Grant for landlords
Residential landlords can claim toward the wiring infrastructure needed to make EV charging future-ready in car parks with off-street parking. The grant contributes both to the chargepoint sockets themselves and to the underlying cabling and switchgear.
As an OZEV approved installer we assess eligibility and handle the voucher application for you.
Billing that works for residents
Every installation includes RFID or app-based user identification, MID compliant metering and automatic invoicing, so tenants pay only for the electricity they use plus a small management fee. Landlords receive a monthly reconciliation report.
Frequently asked questions
- Can tenants be billed automatically for the electricity they use?
- Yes. All of our landlord installations use MID compliant metering and automatic app-based billing so charging is fair, transparent and hands-off for the block manager.
- Do you install into existing underground car parks?
- Yes. We routinely install into covered and underground car parks, including running new supply cabling and containment from the main intake to the parking bays.
