Common EV charger faults we fix

The most common EV charger faults we see are tripped RCBOs, communication failures with the manufacturer app, damaged charging cables, PEN fault protection alarms and units that will not start a charge session.

Our engineers arrive with test kit, spares and manufacturer documentation for the leading brands, so most faults can be diagnosed and cleared in a single visit.

Servicing, firmware and safety checks

Like any electrical installation, EV chargers benefit from a periodic service. We check torque on all terminations, inspect for water ingress, run insulation resistance and earth fault loop tests, confirm PEN fault protection is functioning, and update the charger firmware to the latest version.

Warranty and out-of-warranty repairs

We handle both warranty repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and out-of-warranty work where the unit is older or has been damaged. If a charger is beyond economic repair we can supply and install a replacement quickly, reusing the existing cabling where safe to do so.
