Load balancing, DNO and grid resilience
Most fleet depots need a supply upgrade or dynamic load management to avoid tripping the main supply during shift changeover. We handle the DNO application, specify the switchgear and containment, and configure smart load balancing so the depot always stays within its available capacity.
Where grid capacity is limited or expensive, we can integrate battery storage or solar PV so vehicles can be charged from cheaper off-peak power or on-site renewables.
Telematics and back-office integration
Our fleet installations integrate with leading telematics and energy management platforms so you can see which vehicle is plugged in, how much energy it has drawn, and whether it will be ready for its next job. We also configure automated reporting to make expensing and mileage reimbursement painless.

- Do we need three-phase power for a fleet depot?
- Almost always yes. A three-phase supply lets us install 22kW AC chargers as standard and DC rapid chargers where dwell time is short. We check the existing supply and quote any upgrade during the survey.
- Can you support depots outside of Birmingham?
- Yes. Our fleet team works across the Midlands and we can support multi-site rollouts with a consistent standard of installation, documentation and aftercare.
